Philz Coffee is a genuinely great spot for good coffee and solid breakfast options, and it works well as a place to sit, chat, and take your time over a meal. One practical note: the couches inside are overdue for a replacement, they're not as comfortable as they should be for a coffee shop built around lingering. If you're short on time or don't want to deal with seating, the drive-thru is a reliable, convenient option.
