A Great Experience at Palm Canyon

Indian Canyons (Palm Canyon) was a first visit for us, and it did not disappoint — a genuinely great spot for hiking with dramatic desert scenery, and equally good for a relaxed picnic afterward. Worth building a half-day around if you're in the Palm Springs area. The palm groves along the trail create some genuinely striking scenery you don't expect in the middle of the desert, and there are multiple trail lengths depending on how much time and energy you have.
