A Wonderful Visit to Balboa Island Park

Balboa Island Park is a small park, but its location right next to the auto ferry area gives it a distinct waterfront character most small parks don't have. There's usually a line of cars waiting for the ferry just in front, which adds some activity to watch, and the park itself has a kids' playground and a basketball area. A good quick stop if you're waiting for the ferry anyway rather than a standalone destination.
